I don't have a witty title for this

Oh look at me.. 2 blogs in one day. Mostly, I tried to keep all of my Parkview things together, and the rest of my nonsense separate.

I got out for my first outdoor run since Around the Bay today. Awesome stuff. And it's totally awesome to have someone to go with! I've never had such luck in the past, since not too many people I know are runners (but some are getting there :). Its just nice to be able to talk to a human being... it helps time pass quicker, and provides for a bit of challenge. No runner is the same as any other, and each has thier own pace, tolerances, expectations, and so on. So to run with someone a bit faster than myself, and definetley with high expectations in the sport... it makes me motivated to achieve higher goals for myself, and to improve my own performance. Hopefully I'm not holding anyone back in the process.

So yesterday, I downloaded a podcast from CBC Radio One.... the Billy Bob Thorton Interview. What.An.Idiot.!. Jian Gomeshi (a man I could easily marry...*sigh*) handled it so professionally, though, and wonderfully made Mr. Thorton look like the fool that he is. If you haven't heard/seen it, here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJWS6qyy7bw.

School is almost done. You'd think I'd be happier about that than I appear to be. Yeah, it's a great thing... I'll be done, (hopefully) get hired, and use my many skills. My problem is that I have been a student pretty much my entire life (I started in JK when I was 3, so basically I've been in school for 23 years). I have never known anything other than homework/study Monday-Friday, work Friday -Sunday, rinse, repeat. I mean, what do people do without homework to complete? How do they get out of doing chores if they can't say "Dad, really.. I have an essay to write"? Hello, my name is Christine, and I am a schoolaholic (your turn: Hiii Christine!). Mind you, the separation isn't for long, since my plan is to go to teachers college within the next 1-2 years anyway. I'm still having difficulty accepting that I won't need new stationary in September. There's just something about the smell of new binders (*sniiiffff*).

Ok, so I might be incognito for the next while (final assignments, 3 exams, two weeks). After that, my plan is to write better blogs. The kind that are not simply summaries of my days, but blogs that actually require me to think and analyze things. If I can't have legitimate homework, I'll make up my own!
