Week four.....
Ohmygawd.
First, I'm SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER thankful for all the extra support I received this week from Karen, Melissa, Christina, and EVERYONE. Without them, I would NEVER have survived week four. Not even exaggerating.
Ok, so, it was busy... to say the least. Lots of running. Always on my toes. Ready for anything at any moment. Lots of fully clothed swimming.
Danny gets the BIGGEST props this week, for his strength, and patience, and unwavering dedication.... and strong gag reflex!
Karen might get the next biggest props... for sacrificing so much time at other camps to be with us all day everyday.... and for washing all that off with her bare hands.
Third goes to Melissa. You could now be a part of the Twilight story with that wound to show for it!
Fourth, Sarah... You had two really tough weeks, but you absolutely, hands down, owned it.
Tasha, you were phenomenal with Hashim... I have never seen him so happy as when he was being tickled in the life jackets!
Lindsay and Michelle, equally, handled two-thirds of the Hewitts magnificently.
Jen was AMAZING with Robert over on Spec for canoe camp. Cree... way to not freak out over having an HH camper in your group!
Kaitlin was indoors with Casey. I believe chocolate was eaten and nail polish applied. A week of pampering indoors sounds kinda great to me!
Joanna and Kennedy were a fab team, dishing it back and forth to one another... Joanna, I think you were a perfect match for Ken's jabs. I love that you just jabbed back!
Laurie, you rocked the breaks this week... which was REALLY hard!!!
Alex endured many.... several... a lot of injuries. Next year you can train on A/I reports, ok?
Christina and Nathaniel..... way to keep things appropriate Christina ;).
Chaylene was seamless with her integration this week, with an amazing incentive program that worked like a charm!!
Andrew.... tough week! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet job downtown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All in all, the TOUGHEST week of the summer so far, but everyone did what they needed to do for it to be successful. The good news is it's a long weekend. A much deserved 3 days off lay ahead of us..... Everyone BETTER put their feet up and do a whole lot of nothing the entire time.
